Most creators dread Instagram because it eats hours every week. With tinyposter and an AI assistant, you can plan and queue a whole month in about 10 minutes.
The workflow
- Pick a theme for the month (one focus area)
- Ask Claude or ChatGPT to draft 30 posts on that theme
- Have the AI schedule them across the month
- Add images later (or generate them with AI too)
Step 1: Sign up and connect
Sign up for tinyposter. Connect Instagram in Accounts.
Step 2: Open Claude Desktop or ChatGPT
Make sure tinyposter is set up as an MCP server (Claude) or Custom GPT (ChatGPT). Setup is in /docs/claude or /docs/chatgpt.
Step 3: One prompt
"I want to post to Instagram daily for 30 days about [your topic]. Write 30 posts. Mix carousels, single images, and text-on-image. Vary the formats. Schedule them daily at 9am for the next 30 days."
Claude or ChatGPT will:
- Draft 30 unique posts
- Pick the right format for each
- Schedule them with
schedule_postto your tinyposter calendar - Hand you a list to review
Step 4: Review the calendar
Open tinyposter.app/dashboard/calendar. See all 30 posts. Drag any of them to a different day. Edit any of them. Cancel any of them. The AI did the heavy lifting.
Step 5: Add images
You can:
- Drop images into Claude one at a time as you go
- Use ChatGPT's image generator to make 30 covers
- Skip images for text-on-image posts (tinyposter has templates)
Time spent
- Setup: 5 minutes one time
- Generation: 3 minutes
- Review: 7 minutes
- Total: 10 minutes per month
Compared to "open Instagram, think of a post, write it, find an image, post" which is 30 min per post = 15 hours/month. You just got 14:50 of your life back.
What about engagement?
You get out what you put in. Pre-scheduled posts can hit 80% of engagement of "real-time" posts if the content is good. With AI helping you write better hooks and stronger captions, your average post quality goes UP.
