LinkedIn rewards long, useful posts. ChatGPT is great at writing them. Tinyposter ties the two together so you can post to LinkedIn from any ChatGPT conversation.
What you need
- ChatGPT Plus, Business, or Enterprise
- A tinyposter account (3 days free)
- A LinkedIn account
Step 1: Get a token from tinyposter
Sign in. Go to Dashboard → Tokens. Make a new one. Copy it.
Step 2: Connect LinkedIn
Go to Accounts → LinkedIn. Sign in. Once.
Step 3: Open the tinyposter Custom GPT
Or set up your own Custom GPT with our OAuth flow. Full guide at /docs/chatgpt.
When the GPT asks for a token, paste yours.
Step 4: Post
Try:
- "Write a LinkedIn post about why I quit my corporate job"
- "Post a LinkedIn carousel about 5 lessons from my first year as a founder"
- "Schedule a LinkedIn post for Tuesday at 8am about our new feature"
ChatGPT writes the post (up to 3,000 characters on LinkedIn). ChatGPT formats it (line breaks, hook, story, lesson, CTA). ChatGPT posts.
What works on LinkedIn
LinkedIn supports:
- Text up to 3,000 characters
- Photos
- Photo carousels
- Video
- Link previews
Tinyposter handles all of these. ChatGPT picks the right format based on what you upload.
Use a hook
LinkedIn rewards the first 2 lines. ChatGPT is good at writing hooks. Try asking: "Write a LinkedIn post with a strong first-line hook about my career change."
Schedule for the morning
LinkedIn peaks at 7am-9am in your timezone, Tuesday through Thursday. Tell ChatGPT to schedule for that window.
Cross-post
LinkedIn long-form, Twitter short, Threads casual. Same idea, three formats. Just ask ChatGPT.
