You can post to Instagram from ChatGPT. Plus, Business, or Enterprise plans support Custom GPTs that talk to tinyposter. It takes about a minute to set up.
What you need
- ChatGPT Plus or above
- A tinyposter account (free for 3 days)
- An Instagram account
Step 1: Get your tinyposter token
Sign in. Go to Dashboard → Tokens. Make a new token. Copy it.
Step 2: Connect Instagram
Go to Accounts → Instagram. Sign in. Done.
Step 3: Open the tinyposter Custom GPT
Open our hosted Custom GPT and tell it your token when it asks. That is the whole setup.

Step 4: Post
Try one of these:
- "Post to my Instagram: a tip about meal prep"
- "Write a 5-slide Instagram carousel about saving money"
- "Schedule an Instagram post for tomorrow morning about my new podcast"
ChatGPT writes the caption. ChatGPT picks Instagram. ChatGPT posts.
What about photos and carousels?
Upload images to ChatGPT in the chat. ChatGPT passes them to tinyposter. The post goes to Instagram with the images attached.
Instagram supports single image, carousels up to 10, and Reels (video). Tinyposter validates the aspect ratio before posting and tells ChatGPT to crop or pad if needed.
Can ChatGPT schedule?
Yes. Just say when. "Schedule for Friday at noon" works. ChatGPT calls the schedule endpoint and the post sits on your tinyposter calendar.

ChatGPT can fan out a post. "Post this to Instagram, Threads, and X." ChatGPT picks the right caption length for each.
